Tech Info
Alaska Tab & Bind accepts digital files, both on disk and by e-mail. Our main design programs are Adobe PageMaker 7, Adobe CS and Microsoft Word. However, if you are sending a digital file to us, we prefer to receive it in PDF format. If you are bringing a disk, we can accept CDs, Zip 100 MB, or 3.5 floppy disks. Note: Some PC files may not be usable on our system. Keep this in mind, especially with time sensitive jobs.

Proofing Your Job
Proofing is the responsibility of the client, this includes typos and/or requested changes. When proofing your work, be sure everything is exactly as you want it to be printed. You will be expected to settle your bill regardless of usability because of typos. Originals and reprints will be charged the full amount, regardless of typos. Alaska Tab & Bind will not be held liable for any damages incurred due to typos and time related deadlines missed due to reprinting.

Rush Jobs
The determination of a job being "rushed" is solely the responsibility of Alaska Tab & Bind and may vary due to number of jobs already in the shop, availability of supplies, or other variables determined by Alaska Tab & Bind. Rush charges are at the discretion of Alaska Tab & Bind, and although we strive to meet every deadline we ask that you please call to confirm.

Deposits
Alaska Tab & Bind requires a deposit on all first-time orders. Some large jobs may also require a security or material deposit.

Design Time/Graphic Time
Design Time/Graphic Time is billed at $65/hour. All time is billed, including consultation time. Expect a minimum of 3 - 5 hours for this type of work. Estimates will be given on request.
